Curate helps you manage, organise, protect and access your digital objects. Curate can work standalone or in combination with an existing digital preservation solution.
Curate is perfect for enhancing preservation workflows because of its cost-effective archival storage, built in metadata functionality, its file indentification tools and its intuitive UI. It can even form the core basis of a minimally viable preservation system, but because Curate does not offer format migration, emulation or other preservation methods it's recommended to use Curate alongside your chosen preservation tool.
Curate doesn't require a powerful server or even an expensive home computer to allow you to use it to it's fullest potential. Curate can be accessed with all of it's features and every drop of performance from any desktop, laptop or even your mobile phone, no matter the operating system.

Curate uses several tools to deliver it's data-protection functionality. Files in Curate are scanned for viruses using ClamAV and identified with Seigfried. By integrating with many of the most popular digital preservation tools, Curate can form a minimally viable preservation system with best-in-class useability, performance and productivity.
Curate is hosted in London. Files stored in the Curate archival space are placed in archival-standard storage, which is automatically dual-replicated to both locally distinct and geographically separated systems. In the event of a system failure or outage, your content is almost guaranteed to be protected. You have full and immediate access to any file stored in Curate, whether that's previewing an image over the cloud, or downloading a full set of media to one of your portable devices.
Curate can not only comprise a complete solution for many challenges on it's own, it can also be used to greatly enhance the simplicity and functionality of many exisiting workflows. Curate allows you to simply build submission packages in a consolidated and intuitive environment, then export them directly to leading preservation software tools.
